FLICK LAMENTS DEFENSIVE SHORTAGE AFTER BARCELONA’S 2–1 LOSS TO REAL MADRID

Barcelona coach Hansi Flick has expressed concern over his limited defensive options following his side’s 2–1 defeat to Real Madrid in El Clásico.

“We are running out of defenders. I’m glad to have Frenkie and others back, but managing the situation isn’t easy,” Flick said after the loss.

The coach welcomed the return of Frenkie de Jong and other players but acknowledged that the squad remained difficult to manage.

His comments highlighted Barcelona’s selection challenges as they look to regroup after the defeat to their fierce rivals.
