FLIGHTS RESUME AT RIYADH AIRPORT AS HOUTHIS ATTACK SAUDI ARABIA
Flights have begun resuming at King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh following disruptions caused by Houthi attacks on Saudi Arabia.
Airport authorities announced revised terminal arrangements effective Sunday, October 25, as part of efforts to restore passenger services.
Terminal 1 will handle domestic flights, while Terminal 2 will serve international flights operated by Saudi national carriers.
Passengers with confirmed bookings were advised to contact their airlines before travelling to the airport, as the announcement does not mean every suspended service has restarted.
The resumption comes amid continuing security concerns. The Saudi-led coalition said it intercepted and destroyed a drone over the Riyadh region early on Sunday.
Meanwhile, Houthi military spokesperson Yahya Saree renewed threats against the airport and warned airlines and travellers against using it.
Several international carriers have suspended or cancelled services following earlier attacks, leaving passengers facing continuing uncertainty.
The latest airport arrangements mark a further step towards restoring operations, but flight availability remains dependent on individual airlines and security conditions.
