Afrobeats star Davido has expressed support for his associate, talent manager Ubi Franklin, who has been accused of stealing a luxury watch during the singer’s wedding in Miami over the weekend.

The allegation began circulating on social media on Wednesday, following a blog post that sparked widespread reactions.

In response, Franklin took to his X account to dismiss the claims, calling them false and misleading.

Reacting to the situation, Davido said Franklin had no reason to explain himself, labeling those spreading the rumour as “fools.”

“You owe nobody any explanation… fools,” Davido posted.
