Umar Doguwa, the former Kano State Commissioner for Water Resources, has returned his official vehicle following his resignation from the state executive council.

Doguwa, who recently assumed the position of chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kano State, handed over the vehicle to the Secretary to the State Government, Umar Faruk.

Reports indicate that Doguwa stepped down from the state cabinet to focus on his new role as APC chairman.

During the handover, Doguwa explained that the vehicle was provided to support his duties as commissioner and confirmed that it remains in good condition. He also expressed gratitude to Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf for the opportunity to serve in the state government.

Reflecting on his tenure, Doguwa noted that his time in public service allowed him to gain valuable experience, and he affirmed his commitment to contributing to public service in other capacities.

Receiving the vehicle, Umar Faruk commended Doguwa for returning government property, describing the gesture as a demonstration of integrity, responsibility, and accountability in public service. He further thanked Doguwa for his contributions as Commissioner for Water Resources and wished him success in his new political role.

"This represents a significant development in our ongoing coverage of current events."
