Cybersecurity company Fortinet has expanded its FortiAIGate platform in collaboration with NVIDIA to strengthen security for autonomous AI agents and cloud-based workloads.

The companies said the upgraded solution is designed to address emerging risks associated with artificial intelligence systems, particularly as enterprises increasingly deploy autonomous agents across cloud environments.

According to Fortinet, the integration leverages NVIDIA’s accelerated computing capabilities to improve real-time threat detection, policy enforcement, and workload protection at scale.

The platform is aimed at helping organisations secure complex AI-driven infrastructure while maintaining performance across high-demand computing environments.

Industry experts note that the rapid adoption of AI agents in enterprise systems has introduced new cybersecurity challenges, including data exposure risks, model manipulation, and automated attack vectors.

Fortinet said the enhanced FortiAIGate solution will provide more granular visibility into AI workloads, enabling faster response to threats and improved compliance management.

The collaboration highlights growing industry focus on securing the next generation of AI-native applications as cloud computing and automation continue to expand globally.

"This represents a significant development in our ongoing coverage of current events."
