Four countries—Sudan, Tunisia, Tanzania, and South Africa—have been eliminated from the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) at the Round of 16 stage in Morocco.
Tanzania bowed out after a 1-0 defeat to host nation Morocco, while South Africa also failed to reach the quarter-finals, losing 2-1 to Cameroon.
The AFCON Round of 16 continues today, Monday, with Egypt facing Benin Republic, and Nigeria set to clash with Mozambique later tonight.
