GAC ENERGY AND TOCHIL GROUP SIGN LANDMARK MOU TO ACCELERATE NIGERIA’S CLEAN ENERGY TRANSITION
In a strategic move set to boost Nigeria’s renewable energy sector, GAC Energy Technology Company Ltd, a leading global energy firm headquartered in the Republic of China, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Nigerian conglomerate Tochil Group. The agreement, signed on Wednesday, June 4, 2025, marks a significant step toward sustainable economic development and energy infrastructure transformation across Nigeria.

The signing ceremony, which took place in Nansha District, Guangzhou City, brought together key representatives from both organizations, including Mr. Xu Wenqiang, Director of International Business Department at GAC Energy, and Amb. Dr. Tochil Nwaneri, Chairman of Tochil Group, who signed on behalf of their respective parties.
Under the agreement, Tochil Group will introduce GAC Energy’s cutting-edge renewable energy solutions to the Nigerian market. The partnership aims to:

Support the deployment of EV charging stations across urban and rural areas
