GALATASARAY GROWS IMPATIENT AS OSIMHEN DELAYS TRANSFER DECISION
Turkish football giants Galatasaray are growing frustrated with Victor Osimhen as they await his final decision on a potential permanent move to the club.
Reports from Fanatik, via TMW, reveal that Galatasaray has already agreed on a transfer fee with Napoli, Osimhen’s parent club. However, despite the green light from Napoli, the Nigerian striker has yet to respond—leaving the Istanbul club impatient and uncertain.
Osimhen had an impressive 2024/25 season on loan at Galatasaray, scoring 26 goals in 30 league matches and playing a key role in the club’s title-winning campaign, which saw them finish 11 points ahead of rivals Fenerbahce.
But now, as the summer transfer window heats up, Galatasaray is pushing for clarity.
Club vice-president Abdullah Kavukcu voiced his concern:
“He’s making us wait, but time is running out. We’ve offered him more than what European clubs are offering.”
According to reports, Galatasaray has now issued an ultimatum: Osimhen and his representatives must return to the negotiation table after the summer holidays, or risk losing the offer altogether.
Meanwhile, the 25-year-old striker has also been linked with moves to Juventus and several Saudi Pro League teams, fueling speculation about his next destination.
With fans eager to know where Osimhen will play next season, all eyes are now on the striker’s camp for a decision that could shape his career and Galatasaray’s title defense.
