GBENGA DANIEL CLAIMS HE WAS BARRED FROM OGUN APC STAKEHOLDERS MEETING
Former Ogun State Governor and Senator representing Ogun State East, Otunba Gbenga Daniel, says he was denied entry into a stakeholders’ meeting of the All Progressives Congress held in Ijebu Ode.
Daniel made the allegation in a short video circulating on Monday, where he addressed supporters from a branded campaign bus.
He stated that despite being present for the meeting at Adeola Odutola Hall, he and his team were stopped from entering the venue.
“We are here for our Ogun East APC caucus meeting, but we have been barred,” he said, adding that any decisions taken at the meeting would be “null and void.”
The meeting reportedly included party stakeholders such as serving and former lawmakers, local government officials, and other political figures.
The development comes amid ongoing political tensions within the Ogun APC ahead of the 2027 election cycle.
