Kaduna Gets New KSMC Managing Director

Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna State has appointed Ben Solomon Dalhatu Kure as the new Managing Director of the Kaduna State Media Corporation (KSMC).

The announcement was made over the weekend by the Governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Ibraheem Musa.

Kure takes over from Ahmed Maiyaki, who recently assumed a new role as Commissioner for Information. He is expected to build on the successes recorded under Maiyaki’s leadership, which has helped reposition KSMC in the state’s media space.

Before his new appointment, Kure held several key positions, including:

Chairman of Jaba Local Government (2016–2017)

Executive Secretary, Kaduna State Emergency Management Agency (2018–2019)

Special Adviser (Political Matters) to the Governor (2019–2021)

With his wealth of political and administrative experience, stakeholders expect Kure to further strengthen KSMC’s role in informing, educating, and engaging the public.
