GOVERNOR BALA MOHAMMED APPOINTS 168 POLITICAL AIDES TO STRENGTHEN BAUCHI STATE GOVERNANCE
Bauchi State Governor, Bala Mohammed, has approved the appointment of 168 political aides in a bid to enhance government operations and improve service delivery throughout the state.
A statement released on Tuesday by the Governor's Media Adviser, Mukhtar Gidado, outlined the appointments across various key positions, including Principal Special Assistants, Senior Special Assistants, Special Assistants, and Personal Assistants. These roles are designed to strengthen political and community relations in the state.
The appointments include five Principal Special Assistants responsible for Political and Community Relations, with one assigned to handle Pension Matters. Additionally, one Senior Special Assistant has been appointed for Labour Matters, along with 60 Special Assistants and 63 Personal Assistants, all focused on Political and Community Relations.
Governor Mohammed emphasized that these appointments are part of his administration’s commitment to fostering inclusivity and ensuring that the diverse needs and aspirations of Bauchi residents are addressed. The newly appointed aides were selected based on their qualifications, political experience, and leadership potential, with many having served in various political roles in the past.
In his congratulatory message, Governor Mohammed urged the new appointees to carry out their responsibilities with dedication, loyalty, and a focus on people-centered governance. He expressed confidence that these appointments would strengthen the state’s existing achievements and drive long-term development in Bauchi.
