GRAMMYS 2027 GETS NEW BROADCAST HOME AS RECORDING ACADEMY UNVEILS CEREMONY DATE
The Recording Academy has officially announced key dates for the 2027 Grammy Awards, confirming when nominations will be revealed and when music’s biggest night will take place.
The announcement was made on Tuesday during the Academy’s upfront presentation in New York City, setting the stage for another major awards season in the global music industry.
According to the organizers, nominations for the 2027 Grammys will be unveiled on November 16, 2026. Projects released between August 31, 2025, and August 28, 2026, will qualify for consideration across the award categories.
The 2027 Grammy Awards ceremony itself is scheduled for February 7, 2027, and will be held at the iconic Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles.
In a major shift for the awards show, the ceremony will now air live on ABC and stream on Disney+ and Hulu, ending the Grammys’ long-running partnership with CBS after more than five decades.
The move marks one of the biggest broadcast changes in the history of the Grammy Awards and signals a fresh era for the globally recognised event as it expands its digital and streaming audience.
The Recording Academy also shared the update with fans on Instagram, building excitement for the upcoming awards season.
“IT’S TIIIIIME! The road to the 2027 Grammys officially begins now,” the post read. “Mark your calendars for submissions, nominations, voting, and all the key moments leading up to Music’s Biggest Night. Grammy Season.”
