GUARDIOLA CONFIRMS THREE MAN CITY STARS WILL MISS WOLVES CLASH
Manchester City will be without three key players when they take on Wolverhampton Wanderers in the Premier League on Saturday evening at Molineux.
City boss Pep Guardiola confirmed during his pre-match press conference that Josko Gvardiol, Mateo Kovacic, and Savinho will all miss the game.
Guardiola revealed that while Gvardiol and Kovacic are not yet fit to return, Savinho picked up an injury during City’s recent match against Palermo and is expected to be sidelined for a few weeks.
“Kovacic is not ready, Josko is not ready, the others are,” Guardiola told reporters. “Savinho is injured from Palermo. Few weeks he will be out.”
The defending champions will now have to adjust without the trio as they prepare for the 5:30 p.m. Nigerian time kick-off against Wolves.
