Vice President Kashim Shettima has expressed confidence that future generations will appreciate President Bola Tinubu for making tough but necessary decisions aimed at improving Nigeria’s fortunes.

Shettima reaffirmed Tinubu’s commitment to economic diversification, describing him as a leader with the political will to take decisive actions in the country’s interest.

He spoke on Thursday at the State House in Abuja, noting that the Federal Government is considering setting up a task team to design and implement a standardised architectural framework for the nation.

Highlighting Tinubu’s recent trip to Brazil, the Vice President pointed out that the visit yielded five Memoranda of Understanding in aviation, foreign affairs, science and technology, and agriculture. According to him, the agreements are intentional moves toward diversifying Nigeria’s economy.

“In President Bola Tinubu, you have an ally and a friend who grew up in the same ecosystem as you, who speaks your language of business and commerce, who understands the economic landscape, and most importantly, who has the political courage,” Shettima said.

"This represents a significant development in our ongoing coverage of current events."
