Popular Nigerian actress Doris Ogala has expressed outrage at remarks made by the founder of Grace Nation International Ministry, Pastor Chris Okafor, who recently referred to her as a “Jezebel.”

The controversy unfolded hours after Okafor retracted a previous apology he had made to Ogala for ending their years-long sexual relationship to marry another woman.

While explaining his earlier gesture of kneeling in apology, the pastor denied ever meeting Ogala in person or having wronged her. He stated:
"Let it be known, I knelt down because of those fathers of faith and the church. Not because of any Jezebel anywhere. No, God forbid."

Reacting to his latest comments, Doris took to Instagram to assert that she would show the pastor “what Jezebels are made of.” She wrote:
"Na me you call Jezebel abi? You don’t know who Jezebel be. Because I was pitying you, I will show you what Jezebel dey do."

In a follow-up video on her page, she further addressed Pastor Okafor:
"Chris, maybe you think this thing is a joke. Do you think I care about your apology? I said you will crawl and apologize to me—you think I’m joking. That kneeling you did in your church is not enough. I said you will lay down, crawl on the floor, and beg me. You call me Jezebel, I will teach you what Jezebel do."

She added:
"You earlier admitted in a court paper that we actually dated. I’m glad that God is exposing you. I want everyone to see the pastor who preaches in church—someone who apologized, but pride got into him again and he’s back saying he’s not sorry. Do you think this person cares about anything anymore? Nothing makes sense to me anymore."
