ICE ARRESTS NIGERIAN MAN WITH CHILD MOLESTATION RECORD IN US
United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has arrested a 53-year-old Nigerian national, Olatunde Olusanjo, in Los Angeles over previous convictions related to child molestation and other sex offences.
The Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) office in Los Angeles announced the arrest on Friday via its official X account, stating that Olusanjo was taken into custody on April 21.
According to the agency, he has prior arrests for child molestation, sexual battery, and soliciting lewd conduct, and is currently being held in ICE custody pending removal proceedings.
The agency also released a video showing the suspect being escorted in handcuffs from an ICE vehicle into custody.
A narration accompanying the video described him as a Nigerian citizen and a “criminal, illegal alien, and convicted sex offender.”
ICE confirmed that deportation proceedings are underway following his arrest.
