Afrobeats queen, Tiwa Savage, has reassured her colleague, Davido, of her unwavering loyalty despite their recent public fallout.

Recall that in January 2024, Savage filed a petition against the Unavailable crooner, alleging that he had threatened her life. The rift came shortly after she shared a photo with Davido’s first baby mama, Sophia Momodu, during the singer’s ongoing child custody battle with Sophia.

However, speaking in a recent interview on The Breakfast Club, Tiwa Savage insisted that regardless of the incident, she would never take sides against Davido.

“I haven’t spoken to Davido, but I do want you to know that I love you and I would never betray you or take side,” Savage declared.

The Somebody’s Son hitmaker emphasized that she still holds great respect and admiration for Davido, describing him as one of the most influential figures in Afrobeats.
