‘I’M JUST GETTING STARTED’ — IYABO OJO FIRES BACK AT CRITICS WITH NEW PHOTOS
The mother of two, preparing to celebrate her birthday in December, shared stunning photos from the premiere of her colleague Odunlade Adekola’s movie, Warlord.
In her caption, Iyabo declared, “I’m just getting started. Clock it.”
Fans flooded her comment section with admiration. Destiny Etiko wrote, “The Queen,” while Alesh Sanni and Priscilla Ojo shared love emojis. Other fans praised her beauty and grace, with comments like “Queen mother too beautiful,” “Beautiful is an understatement, this is jaw-dropping gorgeous,” and “Embodiment of grace and mercy, that’s what you are.”
Recently, Iyabo addressed false rumours of her arrest in Abuja, condemning those who spread them. She explained that her name is often used to drive traffic and generate revenue, emphasizing her unique status.
In May, the actress confirmed she had been invited by the EFCC for questioning regarding the spraying of money at her daughter’s wedding. Iyabo explained that she believed only abuse or mutilation of the Naira was an offence and said the commission clarified the matter for her.
In July, some individuals protested in Lagos, chanting against her in connection with Mohbad’s incident. Iyabo responded on Instagram, stating she never accused any individual of causing Mohbad’s death. She also highlighted the ongoing threats and public attacks she and her children have faced over the years, without intervention from authorities.
That same month, Iyabo’s office building caught fire. Sharing a video of the incident, she expressed gratitude to the Nigerian Fire Service and her staff for salvaging what remained. She thanked God for protecting lives, saying, “The devil tested us, but God said no.”
Last month, Iyabo shared a video of her newly renovated office, once again expressing gratitude to God for the restoration.
