I’M STILL AWAITING FG’S APPROVAL TO DISLODGE CRIMINALS FROM S’WEST FORESTS, SAYS IGBOHO
Yoruba nation activist, Sunday Adeyemo, popularly known as Sunday Igboho, says he is still awaiting Federal Government approval for his proposed security outfit, “Iru Ekun Security Network,” aimed at tackling criminal activities in South-West forests.
According to him, all required documents for the registration and approval of the security network have already been submitted to the Federal Government, and he is now expecting final clearance.
Igboho said the initiative is intended to support efforts to flush out kidnappers, bandits, and other criminal elements operating in rural communities across the region.
He also expressed readiness to work with the police, DSS, Nigerian Army, and the NSCDC to strengthen security operations and restore peace in affected areas.
The activist commended President Bola Tinubu for efforts to improve the country’s security architecture, especially in the South-West and other regions affected by insecurity.
He further noted that his group is prepared to comply with the Oyo State Government’s Executive Order regulating private security organisations.
Igboho added that the proposed security outfit would operate within legal frameworks and support measures aimed at improving safety, agricultural productivity, and rural development.
