IMO FIRST LADY'S AND TURBANS
As the wife of Imo State Governor Hope Uzodimma, Chioma Uzodimma has distinguished herself as a formidable force in public service and social advocacy.
Yet beyond her impactful work, the First Lady has cultivated a signature fashion aesthetic that commands attention.
Chioma's style repertoire features a distinctive element that sets her apart: her elegant turban headwraps. While many Nigerian women opt for the traditional gele common among Yoruba and Igbo cultures, Chioma frequently embraces the turban style - a sartorial choice more commonly associated with Hausa and Muslim traditions.

Aside from turbans, Chioma is also known to have elegant hairdo. The wigs she wears have a way of complementing her lovely face, and when she isn’t on wigs, she wears “a million braids”.
Although a lawyer by profession, Uzodimma possesses an innate philanthropic spirit that is evident in her numerous activities and charitable donations to many organisations that cater specifically to widows, children and physically challenged individuals.
She is also the Founder of GoodHope Flourish Foundation, which she said was born out of her passion to impact the lives of the people in Imo State. It focuses particularly on healthcare, education, and women’s empowerment.
Chioma has also been actively involved in the fight against gender-based violence and has been an advocate for the rights of the girl child. She is the Secretary of the Renewed Hope Initiative.
