INEC CHAIRMAN AMUPITAN TO ADDRESS ELECTORAL DIALOGUE
The Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission, Joash Amupitan, is set to deliver the keynote address at a stakeholders’ policy dialogue on Nigeria’s electoral process.
The event, organised by Law Corridor, will take place on April 29, 2026, at Abuja Continental Hotel.
According to the organisers, the dialogue will bring together political party leaders, civil society groups, and local as well as international election observers to discuss major issues affecting Nigeria’s electoral system.
The forum is expected to focus on strengthening collaboration among stakeholders and addressing challenges ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Organisers said several legal and media experts will also participate, while a post-event policy brief containing recommendations and an electoral reform roadmap will be submitted to relevant government institutions.
The event comes amid growing national conversations on election credibility, reforms, and preparations for the next general polls.
