The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has announced the suspension of voter registration activities in Ekiti and Osun.

According to the commission, the decision is in line with electoral guidelines as the Continuous Voter Registration exercise reaches its scheduled phase in the affected states.

INEC explained that the suspension will allow for data processing, verification, and preparation for upcoming electoral activities.

The commission urged eligible voters who are yet to register to make use of available windows in other locations before the final closure of the exercise.
