IRAN LAUNCHES MISSILE ATTACKS ON US BASES IN JORDAN AND BAHRAINJ

Iran has launched missile and drone attacks targeting United States military bases in Jordan and Bahrain, in a sharp escalation of tensions across the Middle East.

According to reports from international media and security officials, the strikes were carried out by Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) in response to recent US military actions against Iranian targets in the region.

The affected sites reportedly include key US military facilities in Bahrain and Jordan, with additional claims of attempted strikes in other Gulf locations. Security systems in several countries are said to have intercepted most of the incoming projectiles, reducing potential damage.

Officials in the region confirmed that air defence systems were activated during the attacks, and early reports suggest there were no major casualties at the targeted bases.

Iran has described the strikes as acts of self-defence, warning that further attacks could follow if tensions continue to rise. The United States has not yet issued a detailed public response but is expected to address the situation as security assessments continue.

The incident marks one of the most serious escalations in recent months, raising concerns about broader instability in the Gulf region, where several US military installations are based.

Diplomatic observers say the situation remains highly volatile, with fears that continued retaliation from both sides could further expand the conflict.
