Senior Iranian military officials have warned that attacks on Israel will continue, following a night of intense missile and air strikes between the two countries.

“This confrontation will not end with last night’s limited actions,” an unnamed Iranian official told the semi-official Fars News Agency. “Iran’s strikes will continue, and this action will be very painful and regrettable for the aggressors.”

The remarks come after Iran and Israel exchanged heavy fire overnight. Israel had earlier launched what officials described as its largest-ever air offensive against Iran, escalating tensions between the two longtime rivals.

The situation remains volatile, with both nations trading threats and military action, raising fears of a broader regional conflict.
