Nigerian disc jockey and billionaire heiress, Florence Otedola, popularly known as DJ Cuppy, has jokingly revealed the secret behind her new glow — staying away from football, especially Manchester United’s poor performances.

Cuppy remarked shortly after the Red Devils suffered a shocking Carabao Cup elimination at the hands of fourth-division side Grimsby Town on Wednesday night.

Taking to her X (formerly Twitter) page, the entertainer shared,
“See as I just come fresh since I stopped watching football and stressing over Man Utd.”

Fans will recall that Cuppy was once a loyal Arsenal supporter, but ditched the Gunners for Manchester United a few years ago, citing frustration over Arsenal’s form at the time. Ironically, United’s own struggles in recent seasons appear to have pushed her even further away from the game.

Her playful confession has since sparked reactions from football lovers and fans, many of whom can relate to the stress of supporting underperforming clubs.

With Manchester United still battling to regain their former glory, Cuppy seems happier and “fresher” enjoying her music career — without football heartbreaks.

"This represents a significant development in our ongoing coverage of current events."
