Singer Davido’s first babymama, Sophia Momodu, has stated that she has not received any child support from him.

Sophia made the revelation while responding to what she described as attempts to spread false stories about their daughter, Imade Adeleke’s, well-being.

In a detailed post on her Instagram story on Wednesday, Sophia said she has been solely responsible for her daughter’s care over the past five years.

“I have not received any child support from Davido, but our child knows no lack. She’s growing in a safe and loving environment and is very happy,” she wrote.

While emphasizing that Imade enjoys a healthy relationship with both parents, Sophia urged the public to stop involving her daughter in misleading online narratives.

The statement comes after Sophia faced criticism for allegedly preventing Imade from attending Davido’s 33rd birthday celebration in Atlanta earlier this month.
