The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has urged candidates who participated in the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) to remain patient as preparations for the release of the results are being finalized.

The appeal was made on Tuesday via a post on the Board’s official X (formerly Twitter) handle, assuring that the results would be released once all post-examination reviews and procedures have been duly completed.

“2025 UTME results will be released as soon as all post-examination analyses and other procedures are completed,” the Board stated.

“Candidates are enjoined to be patient please.”

As part of the post-examination process, JAMB also revealed that it has so far recorded 62 cases of examination malpractice. These incidents were reported on the Board’s official website, though specific details regarding the nature of the offenses or the locations involved were not disclosed.

The UTME remains a key requirement for admission into Nigerian tertiary institutions. JAMB continues to emphasize the importance of maintaining the integrity and credibility of the examination process, which includes thorough vetting before the release of results.

Candidates and other stakeholders are encouraged to rely solely on official JAMB communication channels for accurate updates.

"This represents a significant development in our ongoing coverage of current events."
