JUMA JUX TO HOST GRAND WEDDING FINALE IN TANZANIA ON MAY 28, 2025
Tanzanian music star Juma Jux has announced that the grand finale of his wedding celebrations will take place in Tanzania on May 28, 2025. After multiple wedding events in Nigeria and Tanzania, the upcoming ceremony will be the ultimate celebration of his marriage to Priscilla, daughter of Nigerian actress Iyabo Ojo. The music star made this announcement through an Instagram story on Thursday.
Although there were plans for another wedding in Rwanda, where he and Priscilla first met, Juma Jux explained that the final celebration would be held in Tanzania due to his bride's fatigue from the previous events. "This month, 28 May, we have a JP reception, the final one, the big one. It’s final because my wife is tired already," he shared.
The couple’s wedding celebrations in Nigeria and Tanzania have already drawn significant attention online, with breathtaking moments and the presence of distinguished guests. Juma Jux also revealed that, while Priscilla's mother had initially mentioned celebrating the wedding in four countries, including Nigeria and Tanzania, he felt six weddings were not enough. He expressed understanding of his wife’s challenges, saying, "She said it’s easy for you just to wear your suit. I sometimes have to go through a lot with my dressings, so I understand her. She tried, though."
For the grand finale, Juma Jux is urging all guests to adhere to a specific dress code and colour scheme. "If you are invited, know that you are exceptional, and I want you to come there with positive vibes. It’s more than a wedding; we are coming to celebrate," he emphasized. The event will feature live performances from various artists, many of whom are close friends of Juma Jux.
The celebration will not only focus on the wedding itself but also showcase African fashion, entertainment, and culture. "Let us show people that Africa is beautiful, let us show people that Africa is the place to be," he urged his guests.
The wedding finale will attract attendees from all over the world, with guests traveling from Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, China, the USA, and Nigeria. There will also be an after-party, with further details to be revealed closer to the event.
Meanwhile, Juma Jux's recent single, "God Design," featuring Nigerian rapper Phyno, has been a massive success. The music video ranked No. 1 on YouTube in both Nigeria and Tanzania, and earned notable spots in the UK and Canada. It also hit over a million views within 24 hours of its release.
The 28th of May 2025 promises to be an unforgettable day for Juma Jux and Priscilla, as they celebrate love, culture, and the vibrancy of Africa.
