JUVENTUS JOIN LIVERPOOL AND AL HILAL IN THE RACE FOR VICTOR OSIMHEN

Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen is once again at the center of a transfer storm, and this time, Juventus have officially entered the race to sign the Nigerian star. Reports from multiple sources confirm that the Italian giants are preparing to make a move for the Napoli forward as they look to strengthen their attack this summer.

The Bianconeri are planning to part ways with Serbian striker Dusan Vlahovic, who has not lived up to expectations at the club. As a result, they are in the market for a proven goal-scorer — and Osimhen ticks all the boxes.

Osimhen, who spent a brief loan spell at Galatasaray to regain fitness after an injury-hit season, is expected to return to Napoli this summer. However, it’s becoming increasingly likely that he won’t stay for long. Juventus are keen on bringing him to Turin, and they are not the only ones.

Liverpool and Saudi Arabian club Al Hilal are also strongly interested in signing the 26-year-old striker. With the transfer window approaching, all three clubs are preparing to battle it out to secure Osimhen’s signature.

According to respected Italian journalist Davide Abrescia, Osimhen has long been admired at Juventus, especially by their former director Cristiano Giuntoli — the same man who originally brought Osimhen to Napoli. While Giuntoli is no longer with the club, his influence still lingers, and the current Juventus management reportedly remains very fond of the striker.

“Osimhen is very much liked by Juve,” Abrescia told Sky Sport Italia via TuttoJuve. “Let’s remember that the €75 million release clause only applies to clubs outside Italy, so Juventus would need to negotiate directly with Napoli. The price Napoli are looking at is somewhere between €70 million and €75 million.”

This means Juventus will need to enter into talks with Napoli to agree on a fee — a task that won’t be easy considering Napoli’s tough negotiating style. But Juventus are believed to be serious about the move and are expected to begin discussions soon.

Abrescia also pointed out that the competition will be fierce. Premier League side Liverpool are in the market for a new striker, and Osimhen is high on their list. With a strong attacking lineup already in place, adding Osimhen would only strengthen their push for titles in the coming seasons.

Then there’s Al Hilal from Saudi Arabia. The club is still determined to bring Osimhen to the Middle East, even after the striker previously turned down their offer. While the Saudi club can match Napoli’s asking price without any problem, it seems Osimhen is still focused on playing in Europe for now.

“Al Hilal could easily meet the financial demands,” said Abrescia. “But the player wasn’t convinced by the move. He still wants to prove himself in Europe and compete at the highest level.”

Osimhen has been one of Europe’s top strikers in recent years. He played a key role in Napoli’s Serie A title win in the 2022–23 season, finishing as the league’s top scorer. His speed, strength, and sharp finishing have made him a hot target for top clubs across Europe.

His current contract with Napoli runs until June 2026, with an option for an additional year. But with so many big clubs interested and Napoli open to selling at the right price, this summer could see one of the most exciting transfer stories unfold.

For now, fans will be watching closely to see which club will move first — and whether Osimhen will stay in Italy, head to the Premier League, or accept a lucrative offer from Saudi Arabia.
