KWARA ORDERS DEMOLITION OF UNSAFE TWO-STOREY BUILDING OVER COLLAPSE FEARS

The Kwara State Government has ordered the immediate demolition of a two-storey building in Ilorin over structural concerns that raised fears of imminent collapse.

The directive was issued by the state’s Ministry of Works and Housing following an inspection that revealed severe cracks and foundation weaknesses in the building located in a densely populated area. Officials warned that continued occupation posed a serious risk to lives and property.
