LABOUR PARTY TROUBLE STARTED BY TINUBU’S GOVERNMENT – PETER OBI
Peter Obi has accused President Bola Tinubu’s administration of fueling the ongoing crisis within the Labour Party.
Obi, who was the Labour Party’s presidential candidate in the 2023 general elections and former governor of Anambra State, made this claim during an interview on Arise Television’s Morning Show on Monday.
He asserted that the current government is responsible for instigating and perpetuating the leadership turmoil in the Labour Party.
Obi said, “This is the usual scenario in Nigeria — a country now dominated by propaganda and falsehoods that are deliberately created. The crisis in the Labour Party was provoked and maintained by the current administration.
“You don’t need me to remind you that the party chairman once insulted a state governor by calling him a dwarf and accusing him of ‘dwarf thinking.’ It’s not about me being weak — if I’m weak, what about everyone else? We must be honest with ourselves.
“When you speak the truth, they attack you with insults. We live in a nation overwhelmed by propaganda and deceit. They aim to sow discord everywhere, even within families.”
