LAFARGE AFRICA SECURES RENOWNED ISO CERTIFICATIONS FOR READYMIX OPERATIONS
Lagos, Nigeria – Lafarge Africa Plc, a leading provider of building solutions, has achieved a major milestone by obtaining two prestigious certifications from the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) for its ReadyMix operations. The company received the ISO 9001:2015 certification for Quality Management Systems and the ISO 14001:2015 certification for Environmental Management Systems. These accolades were granted by the Standard Organization of Nigeria following a comprehensive audit process.
The audit, which was conducted between March and September 2023, followed an application submitted in October 2022. These certifications highlight Lafarge Africa's commitment to upholding global standards in both quality management and environmental sustainability throughout its operations.
Derek Williamson, Head of Aggregates and Concrete at Lafarge Africa, expressed his pride in the achievement, stating, "These certifications reflect our adherence to global standards, ensuring we provide high-quality products while promoting environmental sustainability."
