Members of the Lagos State House of Assembly have confirmed the appointment of Mrs. Adebisi Adelabu as the General Manager of the Lagos State Parking Authority (LASPA).

The confirmation was made during plenary on Monday.

Her approval follows an earlier rejection by the lawmakers a few weeks ago over alleged irregularities in the appointment process.

However, after months of legislative scrutiny, the Assembly eventually cleared and ratified her nomination.

Speaker of the House, Mudashiru Obasa, who presided over the plenary, said the confirmation was in line with Section 92 of the Lagos State Transport Sector Reform Law, 2018.

He noted that the House found her qualified and suitable for the position.
