LAGOS COLLABORATES WITH MAA
Lagos State has teamed up with Marketing Analytics Africa to host the 2025 African Marketing Technology & E-commerce Conference, a key event designed to foster collaboration among top brands, marketers, and investors from across Africa.
Scheduled for May 24, 2025, at the Landmark Events & Conference Centre in Victoria Island, Lagos, the conference will focus on the theme ‘Marketing in the New Economy: Data-Driven Success in Challenging Times.’
The event aims to provide a leading platform for industry experts to exchange ideas on innovative marketing strategies, data intelligence, and the shifting dynamics of e-commerce.
In a press statement released on Tuesday, the Lagos State Employment Trust Fund reaffirmed its dedication to supporting entrepreneurs and creating sustainable employment opportunities for Lagos residents.
The Fund described its collaboration with MAA as a pivotal initiative aimed at positioning Lagos as a continental hub for marketing technology and digital commerce.
Victor Ojeakhena, Co-founder and CEO of Marketing Analytics Africa, highlighted that AMTEC is an annual gathering of thought leaders, executives, and data strategists who come together to explore the latest trends and technologies transforming Africa’s marketing landscape.
He explained that the conference aims to equip brands with effective digital strategies, encourage sustainable partnerships, and drive scalable growth despite ongoing economic challenges.
The event has already drawn high-profile speakers and partners, including representatives from Colgate, Sterling Bank, First Bank, DStv Nigeria, Indomie, and the Advertising Regulatory Council of Nigeria.
Industry experts such as Dr. Olalekan Fadolapo, Chief Executive of ARCON, and Maurice Igugu, Chief Marketing Officer at Sterling Bank, are slated to share insights on emerging marketing regulations and strategies for optimizing customer experience.
Organizers emphasized that AMTEC 2025 will not only highlight the impact of data and emerging technologies on business success but also provide a vital networking platform for professionals, entrepreneurs, and investors to collaborate on innovative solutions aimed at transforming Africa’s digital economy.
