Lagos recently played host to the fourth edition of the Eko Drive Exhibition (Eko Drive IV), as automobile enthusiasts and lifestyle aficionados gathered at the Alliance Française de Lagos, Ikoyi, to celebrate the city’s thriving automotive culture.

According to Ademide Osunsina, Founder and Project Manager of Eko Drive, the exhibition’s strength lies in the community it continues to foster.

Osunsina highlighted that the event brought together a diverse mix of car lovers, premium vehicle owners, bikers, creatives, and lifestyle enthusiasts, further cementing Eko Drive’s reputation as a premier platform for automotive culture in Lagos.

He said, “The exhibition featured a curated display of classic cars, custom-built vehicles, electric automobiles, modern luxury cars, and high-performance machines. Beyond their visual appeal, these vehicles sparked conversations, allowing attendees to connect with the history, design, and individuality behind each model. The passion is visible in the way automobile enthusiasts, luxury car owners, and power bike riders come together to explore cars and share their stories. The trust owners place in us year after year shows the community around Eko Drive is continually growing.”

Sanjo Morgan, co-founder and event coordinator, described Eko Drive as more than just an exhibition, emphasizing its influence on Nigeria’s evolving automotive culture.

“Our goal has always been to unite car lovers, promote safety, and showcase Nigeria’s automotive potential. The success of this fourth edition confirms that our vision is resonating with the community,” Morgan stated.

A standout moment of the event was a live demonstration by an electric Mercedes-Benz G-Class (G 580 with EQ Technology), which performed a 360-degree ‘G-Turn’, earning enthusiastic applause from the audience.

Imran Claud-Ennin, co-founder and Creative Director, added that Eko Drive will continue to expand its focus on storytelling and lifestyle expression within the automotive space.

"This represents a significant development in our ongoing coverage of current events."
