Lasaco Assurance Plc has disbursed N17 billion in insurance claims to policyholders and beneficiaries in the first half of 2026, demonstrating its commitment to prompt and efficient service delivery.

The company’s Managing Director, Mr. Gbenga Odesanya, disclosed this during a media briefing, noting that the payments covered various classes of insurance including life, motor, fire, and general business. “We take pride in honouring our obligations to customers. Timely claims settlement is at the core of our operations,” Odesanya said.

Lasaco has continued to strengthen its claims processing framework through digital tools and dedicated teams to ensure faster turnaround times. The insurer also reported strong growth in premium income and profitability during the period.
