Sharing photos of the visit on Instagram, Lateef revealed that he, his wife, and the entire cast and crew felt truly honoured. He noted that the Governor’s presence has strengthened their determination to deliver a world-class film that highlights the resilience, culture, and heritage of the Ekiti people and the wider Yoruba community.

Lateef expressed heartfelt gratitude for the Governor’s continuous support and belief in the project.

“My wife and I, along with our entire production team, were deeply honoured by the solidarity visit of His Excellency, Governor Biodun Oyebanji, to our film set in Ekiti State.

His personal engagement and unwavering support for arts, culture, and history demonstrate visionary leadership and a strong commitment to Ekiti’s heritage. This encouragement inspires us even more to produce a film that faithfully tells the story of the resilience and showcases the culture of the Ekiti people and the Yoruba community at large. We are fully committed to making this historic project a resounding success.

Thank you, Your Excellency, for your constant support and for believing in us. We are truly grateful for your generosity, humility, and selflessness,” he wrote, tagging ABLE D @kayodekasum and the rest of his cast and crew.

A few weeks ago, Mo Bimpe, on her Instagram page, also expressed gratitude to Lateef and the Governor. She thanked the Governor for trusting her with the vision and offering massive support, and she appreciated her husband for sharing the dream with her and standing by her side throughout the project.

Lateef and Mo Bimpe have received backing from the Ekiti State Government to produce a movie on the Ekiti Parapo War, a film that will depict the struggle and triumph of the Ekiti people against oppression. Speaking about the project, Lateef shared his joy at being part of this cultural milestone and thanked the Governor and his cabinet for their support, vowing to continue promoting local stories and heritage.

"This represents a significant development in our ongoing coverage of current events."
