During a recent appearance on The Esther Show, Lil Kesh explained that he doesn’t like to label himself, but he has long battled symptoms beyond what most people casually call ''a little hyper." He opened up about his struggles with mental health, revealing that he has self-diagnosed ADHD and deals with anxiety.

“I diagnosed myself, but trust me, I know,” Lil Kesh said. “Everyone has a little of it in them, but it becomes a problem when it turns into a disorder. I’ve had my fair share since I was a child.”

He also shared that his anxiety is often triggered by a lack of emotional clarity, but he pointed out that once he gains an understanding of what he's dealing with, it feels like “the problem is half solved.”

He mentioned that he has never sought therapy due to trust issues and the inadequate mental health support available in Nigeria, despite being open about his struggles. He explained that when he needed it the most, he wasn't able to access it.

Dealing with things, anything can cause anxiety.  But I believe that lack of clarity can cause anxiety for me. Once I know what I'm dealing with or what type of emotions I'm dealing with, then my problem is half solved, and the anxiety goes away.

He also spoke about the situation of things in Nigeria. He emphasized that Nigerians are doing their best and trying now, acknowledging that change might take time and won't happen overnight.

He also mentioned that the sooner people accept this reality, the better, as the change they hope for won't come soon.
