The Governor of Oyo State, Seyi Makinde, has confirmed that seven teachers were abducted during a school attack in Ogbomoso, while one of the victims died while in captivity.

The governor gave the update while addressing recent security incidents affecting communities in the state, where schools and rural areas have faced repeated attacks by armed groups.
