MAN UTD CRISIS DEEPENS AS CARRICK FACES AXE

Michael Carrick is facing growing pressure at Manchester United after a 3–0 home defeat to Bournemouth extended the club’s winless run to eight matches.

The latest setback has left United hovering just above the Premier League relegation zone, raising fresh doubts about Carrick’s future at Old Trafford. Reports suggest another managerial change could be approaching, although his dismissal has not been confirmed.

The downturn comes months after Carrick helped United finish third and return to the Champions League, earning a two-year contract in May.

Despite the disappointing result on Sunday, supporters applauded the former midfielder as he left the pitch. Boos followed as the players headed towards the tunnel, reflecting frustration that extends beyond the manager.

Former United captain Gary Neville has also questioned the club’s leadership, arguing that those responsible for its football decisions must share responsibility for the continued struggles.

Carrick’s future now hangs in the balance, with pressure mounting on both the coach and the people running the club to find a way forward.
