The management of popular social media influencer Mukoro Michelle, widely known as King Mitchy, has announced her untimely death.

According to the statement released an hour ago, all efforts by the medical team at Prime Hospital, Abuja, to save her proved unsuccessful. Her condition was reportedly critical, and she could not be revived.

In their statement, her management said:

“We are deeply heartbroken to share that our beloved Michelle has passed on. Despite all efforts from the medical team here in Abuja, we were told her condition was critical, and sadly, she could not be revived.

This is an incredibly painful moment for us. Michi was more than a talent; she was family, full of life, light, and dreams.

We ask for your prayers, love, and understanding during this difficult time. Please also respect the privacy of her family and loved ones as we try to process this loss. Further information will be shared when appropriate.

Rest in peace, Michelle. You will never be forgotten.”

The announcement came shortly after reports that King Mitchy had ingested a hazardous substance amid growing backlash and bullying on social media.

The influencer had recently been involved in a public dispute with activist Very Dark Man over claims regarding school renovations. The conflict escalated online, affecting her personal and business reputation. In defense of her actions, King Mitchy shared a screenshot of a conversation with the Ooni, in which he commended her efforts.

Her management also revealed that the tragedy has deeply affected her family, with her mother reportedly fainting and being hospitalized in Lagos.
