Nollywood actress and filmmaker Mary Njoku has shared a heartfelt reflection on the past year as she welcomes 2026.

On her Instagram page, Njoku described 2025 as one of the most challenging years of her personal life and adulthood, admitting there were moments she doubted she would make it through. She reflected on the way life sometimes feels like walking through a tunnel with no end in sight, yet one must keep moving forward.

The wife of Jason Njoku revealed that despite walking through dark periods, she emerged stronger. “Like gold refined by fire, the process was painful, but it shaped me,” she wrote. Njoku expressed gratitude for the lessons, trials, and burdens she experienced, choosing to step into the new year unburdened and renewed.

She added, “God, thank You for seeing me through 2025. And to everyone who reached out to me this year, whether online or offline, through calls, messages, or comments, may God meet you at your point of need. Your kindness mattered more than you know. God bless you, and welcome to 2026.”

Njoku began 2025 with a testimony of survival after a major accident that almost claimed her life just hours into the year. Later, she revealed that she faced moments of deep uncertainty, feeling stuck at crossroads and shaken by realizing she didn’t truly know some people she once trusted.

Beyond personal reflections, the ROK Studios founder has consistently encouraged learning and growth, emphasizing that no one knows it all and that success should be seen as a stepping stone, not a ceiling. She has also challenged people to reflect on their purpose in life and to live intentionally.
