Nigerian socialite Sophia Egbueje has shared her thoughts on what truly matters when choosing a life partner, reminding women that a man’s wealth is not the ultimate measure of his value.

In a post shared on her Snapchat, the 29-year-old emphasized that beyond financial security, women should prioritize men with morals, respect, and integrity.

“You think having a man with money is everything. But you need a man with morals, a man with boundaries, a man you can trust in your face and behind your back,” she wrote.

She went on to highlight other key qualities women should look for:

A man who respects and values his partner’s opinion.

Someone who won’t embarrass or play games with emotions.

A man who recognizes a woman’s worth from the beginning.

Most importantly, “a man you can pray with, a man of God.”

According to Sophia, “a real man is priceless; the money is just a plus.”

Her post has since sparked conversations online, with many agreeing that character and values matter more than riches when it comes to lasting relationships.

"This represents a significant development in our ongoing coverage of current events."
