Popular Afrobeats star, Mr Eazi, has advised young men to marry a supportive wife if they want to be truly successful in life.

The singer commented during a casual street interview in London with a Gambian content creator who spotted him and his wife, Temi Otedola, during a stroll.

When asked about the key principles of success, Mr Eazi replied without hesitation:

“Marrying a good wife.”

He also added that beyond a good partner, men need to cultivate discipline, patience, and the fear of God to stay grounded and succeed in their journey.

Reflecting on his own path in the music industry, Mr Eazi noted that one of his biggest challenges was dealing with doubt and being second-guessed, but he turned that into fuel for motivation.

“If you’re born in Nigeria, most often than not, you have that drive to go get it and that self-belief,” he said.
“I don’t know how to explain it… maybe it’s in the eba and soup,” he joked.

Mr Eazi officially confirmed his marriage to Temi Otedola—daughter of billionaire businessman Femi Otedola—in November 2023 during a heartfelt birthday message to his father-in-law.

His message now serves as both inspiration and a reminder to young men that a strong support system at home can play a big role in long-term success.
