Nollywood actress Etinosa Idemudia has expressed admiration for her senior colleague, Funke Akindele.

Sharing photos of her outfit for Funke’s movie premiere on Instagram, Etinosa described the box office queen as her “tough mentor” and revealed that she enjoyed every moment of the film.

Congratulations, tough mentor @funkejenifaakindele. I enjoyed every moment of the BTS movie. December 12th, we storm the cinemas,” she wrote.

Reflecting on Her Career
While celebrating her 32nd birthday, Etinosa reflected on her evolving career path. She noted that she was an engineer in her 20s and a filmmaker in her 30s, wondering aloud what profession she might pursue in her 40s and what the future holds.

The actress also addressed filmmakers, advocating for comic actors. She highlighted how some filmmakers often praise actors who can cry, calling them talented, while overlooking the skill it takes to make people laugh. She emphasized that while any actor can cry, not every actor can excel in comedy, urging filmmakers to recognize comic actors’ contributions.

On Financial Matters
Etinosa recently shared her experience of being owed by a BBNaija graduate, whom she assumed was financially well-off. In a follow-up post, she revealed the star as Pere, stating that the money had been fully repaid. She also advised Pere, making it clear that she is not his industry peer but offered guidance nonetheless.
