NAHCO SECURES AGREEMENTS WITH FIVE DIFFERENT AIRLINES.
The Nigerian Aviation Handling Company Plc (NAHCO) has signed multiple new and renewed contracts with five airlines, including both domestic and international carriers.
In a statement released Wednesday, NAHCO announced a five-year agreement with Royal Air Maroc for cargo freighter and warehousing services in Lagos and Abuja, running until November 2029. This is in addition to an existing full-service handling agreement between the two parties.
Kenya Airways also extended its contract with NAHCO for another five years, covering both passenger and cargo operations in Nigeria, including any new routes the airline may add. Dornier Aviation entered a three-year deal with NAHCO for passenger handling services across airports in Lagos, Port Harcourt, Abuja, and Osubi, among others.
New domestic airline Enugu Air signed a five-year nationwide ground handling contract with NAHCO, covering full passenger services at all Nigerian airports.
Meanwhile, Cronos Airline renewed its partnership with NAHCO for three years, focusing on passenger services in Lagos and Port Harcourt.
NAHCO said these agreements demonstrate strong trust in its services and align with a broader pattern of regional and international carriers turning to the company for comprehensive ground handling solutions.
Earlier this year, NAHCO also signed similar deals with Afrijet and Air Sierra Leone, further expanding its reach in West Africa.
NAHCO’s Group Executive Director for Commercial and Business Development, Saheed Lasisi, expressed optimism, calling the deals beneficial for all involved. Group Managing Director, Olumuyiwa Olumekun, described the contracts as a strong sign of growth and reaffirmed the company’s commitment to top-tier service delivery.
