As the New Year begins, Nollywood actress Nancy Isime has announced she is stepping away from social media. She shared the news on her Instagram page while sending her fans heartfelt New Year wishes.

Nancy revealed that she would be logging off social media until further notice, choosing to prioritize her peace and happiness.

She wrote:
"Happy New Yearrrrrrr! It’s 2026 here in Mauritius, so let me be the first to wish you all a Happy New Year, my loves!! 2026 will be the year of our dreams!! Aii, time to log off social media till further notice, as usual. Let me focus on my happiness and peace, T for thanks. See ya when I see y’all. I love youuu."

In her post, Nancy reflected on her growth in the film industry and the challenges she has faced as an actress. She spoke about her drive and determination to succeed, emphasizing her desire to work hard and provide for herself so that she is never dependent on anyone else.

Just last week, Nancy celebrated her birthday, marking the end of Chapter 33 of her life. She described the past year as transitional and filled with lessons, expressing excitement for the new chapter ahead.

To celebrate, she hosted an end-of-year party for the students and staff of Methodist Primary Schools in Ikorodu. Sharing a video from the event, Nancy noted that this has been her tradition since turning 21 and has now continued for 13 years. She also expressed gratitude for the love and joy surrounding her on her special day.
