Atiku Abubakar Isah, the newly elected President of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), has accused Seyi Tinubu, son of President Bola Tinubu, of attempting to disrupt his inauguration and threatening his life.  Isah alleges that Seyi Tinubu led armed individuals to the inauguration venue at The Wells Carlton Hotel in Abuja, aiming to halt the event and intimidate attendees.  He further claims that Seyi Tinubu and his security detail were stationed outside his hotel room, posing a direct threat to his safety.

In response, Seyi Tinubu has strongly denied these allegations, labeling them as baseless and defamatory.  He stated that he had no involvement in the events described and emphasized that he had never met or communicated with Isah.  Seyi Tinubu also suggested that legal action might be considered if the defamation continues.

The situation has sparked significant concern among student bodies and the public, highlighting the need for a thorough and impartial investigation to ascertain the facts and ensure the safety and integrity of student leadership in Nigeria.
