In a bold and unconventional move, rising Afrobeats artist Nasboi has launched a 36-state campaign to capture the attention of music superstar Davido.

Determined to secure a verse from the Afrobeats heavyweight, Nasboi has announced plans to kneel in front of landmarks across all 36 Nigerian states—an act of musical devotion aimed at earning a collaboration with Davido.

The campaign kicked off in Osun State, where Nasboi was seen kneeling with a placard outside the State Government Secretariat. Sharing the moment on Instagram, he reflected on how his journey began by mimicking Davido in 2019 to gain exposure for his music—a move that inadvertently propelled him into comedy stardom.

“In 2019, I began imitating Davido to get his attention for my music, but instead, I gained popularity as a comedian. That was God’s plan. Now I’m back, pleading with 001 to bless me with a verse for this song,” he wrote.

He added, “I’ll be kneeling across 36 states for 36 days. I hope this dream becomes reality. If you're a fan, please tag @davido whenever you see my posts.”

Davido responded to the viral campaign with a playful “set up” and a laughing emoji, after thousands of fans flooded his mentions on Nasboi’s behalf.

Now on day three of the campaign, Nasboi has shared a new image from Owerri, Imo State, standing outside Donald's Eatery with his signature placard, continuing his determined quest.
