NBBF UNVEILS D’TIGRESS PRELIMINARY SQUAD FOR 2025 FIBA WOMEN’S AFROBASKET
As the countdown begins for the 2025 FIBA Women’s AfroBasket in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire, the Nigeria Basketball Federation (NBBF) has released the preliminary roster for the national women’s basketball team, D’Tigress, as preparations officially kick off to defend their continental title.
In line with the build-up to the tournament, the team is set to begin training camp, featuring a range of organized activities — including the highly anticipated Homecoming Games.
These exhibition matches will not only celebrate the team’s past achievements but also serve as a crucial assessment platform for the technical crew as they work to finalize the squad.
The NBBF has reaffirmed its dedication to selecting the best talents to represent Nigeria, aiming to maintain the nation’s dominance in African women’s basketball and secure yet another AfroBasket crown.
